Greg brings a wealth of hands-on experience from the marine repair industry, having spent years refining his craft on countless boat building projects and repairs. His journey at Gougeon Brothers began with the production of the G32s where his expertise was used to build rigs. After the completion of their run, he worked in a boat yard and prominent marine chandlery before eventually returning to work elbow-to-elbow in the boat shop with Meade and Jan, our founders. During this invaluable time, he has soaked up tons of historical know-how and become a treasure trove of firsthand accounts and boatbuilding insights. When he’s not working on boats, you’ll find him on the water as a seasoned multihull racer.

Favorite Part of the Job: The constant change. It’s always a surprise with every customer call.

Fun Fact: Spent many summers living aboard a 1961, 42′ wooden cruiser.
